Today’s journey begins in the heart of Barcelona with a showcooking at the famous La Boqueria Here, you’ll explore the vibrant stalls brimming with fresh local ingredients, guided by Chef Alba Sunyer.
Following the visit, enjoy a lunch showcasing a festival of classics at La Barra d’El Quim de la Boqueria.
In the afternoon, we’ll step back in time with a private tour of the awe-inspiring Palau de la Musica, and stroll through the enchanting streets of the El Born neighborhood, where centuries of history come alive.

Lunch Among the Vineyards of Priorat
Start your day heading to Priorat, located in southern Catalonia, is a land of dramatic landscapes, ancient vineyards, and rich cultural heritage. Known worldwide for its powerful red wines. Priorat is defined by its steep terraced hillsides and unique llicorella (slate) soil, which give its wines their distinctive character. Beyond wine, the region offers charming medieval villages, olive groves, and historic monasteries, all surrounded by stunning mountain scenery that embodies the authentic spirit of rural Catalonia.
Here, in Poboleda you will visit Mas Doix, a renowned Priorat winery where tradition and craftsmanship meet. Here, you’ll savor a curated wine tasting, featuring 5 classic varietals that define this exceptional wine region.
After this special wine tasting, we will continue to Restaurant Brots, a charming establishment recognized with a Bib Gourmand distinction. Brots offers an exceptional culinary experience that combines traditional Catalan flavors with contemporary presentation, highlighting the finest local and seasonal products.
Following lunch, you’ll have the option to visit La Cartoixa d’Escaladei, a Carthusian monastery founded in 1194, now transformed into a fascinating museum complex. In the serene setting of a centuries-old olive grove, you’ll join Iolanda Bustos, the renowned “Chef of the Flowers”, for an extraordinary EVOO Tasting.
This immersive experience invites you to reconnect with the essence of the Mediterranean. Surrounded by the peaceful beauty of ancient olive trees, Iolanda will guide you through the fascinating world of olive oil—teaching you to identify the unique characteristics of different varieties, sharing curiosities about their properties, and exploring their diverse culinary uses.

Awaken your senses and curiosity, our journey through Costa Brava begins in one of the region’s most enchanting villages: he picturesque village of Pals, surrounded by golden fields

Here, a delicious lunch awaits in a traditional masia, with a menu centered around the area’s culinary jewel: rice.
During this intimate meal, Alba Sunyer will share her knowledge and passion for this essential ingredient. She’ll reveal the secrets to cooking rice to perfection and introduce you to the local varieties that have shaped the region’s cuisine for centuries.
We’ll then continue to Peratallada. Known for its impeccably preserved medieval architecture, Peratallada invites you to step back in time. With our expert local guide, you’ll enjoy a private walk through its winding stone streets, uncovering the stories and charm hidden behind every corner.
At the end of the day, we’ll return to Barcelona for a restful night. The following morning, we continue our journey to Menorca for the final days on this amazing island, carrying with us the flavors, traditions, and beauty of Catalonia.

Starting the day we will fly to Menorca, the island where Mayonnaise was born, we’ll take part in a hands-on workshop at Alcaufar Vell with the renowned gastronome Pep Pelfort, who will reveal his secrets for creating the perfect homemade mayonnaise.
Afterward, we’ll savor a traditional lunch, a restaurant recommended by the Michelin Guide.
Following this inspiring morning, we’ll make our way to one of the island’s most stunning accommodation.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure—stroll along the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean, unwind in the gentle sea breeze, and pause to take in one of Menorca’s unforgettable sunsets.
Discovering Menorca secrets: the Local Gin, the Sobrassada and the Mahon Cheese
Wake up refreshed in Menorca, and start the day with a visit to a Mahón cheese farm also known for its traditional sobrassada sausage.
Later, enjoy lunch in one of the island’s prettiest towns — Fornells, famous for its traditional lobster stew, the caldereta de llagosta.
In the afternoon, discover one of the Mediterranean’s oldest gins: Gin Xoriguer from Mahón. Its history dates back to the 18th century, and the distillery has remained faithful to its origins, preserving traditional methods that extend beyond distillation to their signature hand-bottling process.

With over 15 years of experience in the U.S., she has built a successful career as a chef, entrepreneur, and consultant, collaborating with government agencies, international brands, and local companies. Alba is also the author of The Catalan Table, endorsed by renowned chefs. Today, she represents CETT–University of Barcelona in the U.S., teaches nationwide, and consults for the Catalan American Council and Prodeca, a public company of the Catalan Government promoting Catalan food worldwide.

This experience includes light walking, market visits, and occasional cobblestone paths in villages, but it’s not overly strenuous. If you’re comfortable standing/walking for an hour or two at a time, you’ll be just fine. We’ll also have time to rest, relax, and enjoy the hotels.
