Vietnam is a land of breathtaking diversity, stretching over 1,025 miles (a bit shorter than the Baja Peninsula in Mexico and a tad longer than California) from north to south, covering an area of around 128,066 square miles. Tucked along the eastern coast of the Indochinese Peninsula, this S-shaped country boasts an enchanting mix of landscapes. From the lush rice terraces and towering mountains in the north to the vibrant river deltas and pristine beaches in the south, Vietnam is just spectacularly beautiful. The country’s geography includes the rugged Annamite Range, the sprawling Red River Delta, and the fertile Mekong Delta, each offering its unique charm.

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, make your way through immigration and customs. Your private guide will greet you and assist you to your air-conditioned vehicle for transfer to your luxurious hotel, The Lapis. Note – international travel to Vietnam is not included in the cost quoted above but can easily be added upon request.
Set off for Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its emerald waters and limestone islands. Enjoy lunch on board as you cruise through the bay. Participate in activities such as cave visits and beach relaxation. Dinner and overnight on the Mon Cherie Cruise.
Start your day with Tai Chi on the sundeck before cruising back to port. Return to Hanoi and enjoy a street food tour in the evening, tasting local delicacies and learning about Hanoi’s culinary history.
Drive to Nghia Lo, stopping for scenic photos and lunch. Continue to Mu Cang Chai, where terraced rice fields cascade down mountainsides, creating a mesmerizing patchwork of vibrant green hues! Then check in at the luxurious Garrya Mu Cang Chai, and enjoy leisure activities.
Explore Hue’s Imperial City, including the Forbidden Purple City and the Royal Antiquities Museum. In the afternoon, drive to Phong Nha and check into your hotel.

Day 15: Phu Quoc – Saigon Vespa Tour
Fly to Saigon and embark on an evening Vespa tour to experience the city’s vibrant nightlife and culinary delights. This was one of the most fun evenings we had — in fact it was Christmas Eve and nothing ever slowed down!
On the last day of your 2 week Vietnam itinerary, we’ll take a day trip to the Mekong Delta, exploring the lush landscapes and traditional villages by boat.
Check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure flight home.
